of the Facilities and Programs that we have to
offer.

up-to-date vaccination. Convenient for lessons,
practice
riding
and trail riding.

TO ALL BOARDERS
Please read and help us implement the following policies. If we have everyone's cooperation it will help us run a more efficient riding facility.
-Thank you.
PROTOCOL FOR VETERINARY SERVICES:
Emergency Situations (lacerations, severe colic, etc.). The vet will be called immediately, then the owner will be notified, then the insurance company will be notified. (It is important we have current insurance information on file for your horse.)
Other health situations: (horse going off feed, small cuts/abrasions, lameness). Owner will be notified and owner will make the decision to call the vet or have the staff treat injury. If the owner is not able to be contacted, The Training Center will call the vet if they feel it is necessary. Services/supplies that The Training Center provides will be billed to each owner which may include things such as medication given (bute, banimine, dex, etc.) hand walking, washing wounds, providing wraps. Any medication administered by the training center will be billed.
If you would like emergency issues handled differently, please put in writing and give to Amy or Virginia. There will be a handling fee in emergency situations for all vet handling.
Worming medication and scheduling is the responsibility of the owner. The Training Center will administer it for you if you wish.
All Veterinary Bills are the responsibility of owner.
OTHER BOARDING POLICIES:
Turnouts:
All horses will be turned out on a daily basis. We will be turning out during morning and afternoon chores. Please help us "share" the indoor arena during these times.
Barn Hours:
A friendly reminder about lights to all boarders. Please be respectful with the use of lights during the winter time. Remember that the barn hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Lights out by 8:30 p.m.! If you need special arrangements made to accommodate your schedule, please see Amy or Virginia.
Blanket Season:
Blankets need to be kept clean for the health of your horse. When we have a break in the weather, please take the time to wash your blankets and sheets. If you borrow one of the Training Center's blankets, you must wash it before returning. If we have to wash your blanket, you will be charged $15.00.
Reminder:
Please shut the bathroom door completely when exiting as the heater is on this time of year. The door has been left open several times causing the pipes to freeze. Also, in winter - do not leave heater on in lounge. Do not leave cats in room!
Treats:
For the safety of all horses, please do not feed treats to any horses except your own. Some of the biscuits and treats sold
are large and difficult for some horses to chew. If you are feeding these to your horse, use caution.
